Since the verdict of the O.J. Simpson "trial of a century" I have been researching topics on domestic violence. It was interesting to discover that while family violence is related to a poorer socioeconomic status it is certainly not confined to it. It is only a myth that domestic violence only occcurs in low income and minority families. Family violence occurs in every race and in every class. Maybe if more people understood this it would not have been so shocking to our population that a football star and actor like O.J.
