Denise's Home Page

Hi my name is Denise Folkers-Yarkin and I am a graduating senior at CUNY Queens College. My major is Sociology and I am very interested in Applied Social Research

I am 27 years old and have been married for almost 2 years. My husband and I love camping, windsurfing and going away to the Caribbean Islands and especially Mexico.

I am a huge fan of Stevie Nicks Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles .

This semester I am taking a course at Queens College called Applied Social Research and the Internet, We are learning about all the fantastic things that can be found on the WWW. The web is an invaluable resource for doing papers and any other kind of research.

This home page is one of our projects this semester. My final project project is a homepage on Alcoholics Anonymous web site pages. I will have links to several other pages that explain what AA is all about, and what Alcoholism is. I will also have a p age of useful telephone numbers for Queens and Long Island. On this page you will find all of the local Intergroup phone numbers, as well as area detox centers.
