Paulette's Home Page

My name is Paulette Battaglia, I'm 22 years old and I am a senior here at Queens College. I am a Sociology major and I will be graduating this spring. I came to this college on a softball scholarship on which I only played one year and then transferred over to basketball. I have been playing for the Queens College basketball team for the past four years. Yes, this is my fifth year here so you can say I am a super senior. One thing I can say is, Sociology was not the first major I studied, there were pl enty of others. I was what you could call confused! When I graduate I plan to do social work.

I come from a family of five, I have an older sister and a younger brother. I am an Italian American born and raised in Queens. For fifteen years I lived in Ozone Park and then my family moved to Howard Beach and that is where I am presently living now. Howard Beach is a mostly Italian neighborhood and if you want pizza, Howard Beach is where you can get it, on every corner. How they all stay in business I will never know. I have lived in Queens all my life and it has changed so much. I am looking to get away from Queens soon!

I would love to move somewhere hot! I enjoy the sun and the beach and nothing would be better than living someplace off the beach. I guess I will just have to wait and wish.
